GoodGlove USA LLC, a joint venture of local and
Texas-rooted manufacturers, is producing Nokona gloves for Nocona
Athletic Goods Co., a company that bills itself as the last U.S. maker
of baseball gloves.
“We can expand up here probably five times what we
have now, so we have room to grow,” Mr. Egan said this week, as workers
stood in horseshoe-shaped manufacturing cells, stitching and lacing
pieces of leather to form gloves.
